Dr Timothy Bottom’s 30 years of research and writing has culminated in five published books and many more finished bound booklets, numerous videos, radio interviews and documentaries, graphics, news stories and historical clips that describe the Far North Queensland Rainforest Aboriginal People (Bama). Aside from the books which can be purchased online, the video and graphics material is provided free to you, the researcher of Aboriginal history in Cairns and surrounding area.
As with all published material there can be information that dates over time and may now be incorrect such is the nature of publishing books.
Dr Bottoms is nearing retirement and is unable to take on specific research projects, instead encouraging you to explore the material already created over a writing career spanning decades.
